1. Our quality
 
All products offered by us have passed our stringent quality controls. In the unlikely event that problems should occur, we not only offer the statutory warranty of two years, but also provide a voluntary manufacturer's warranty, where applicable, which can extend beyond the validity period of the statutory warranty.  Consequently, please keep your invoice or delivery note safe, along with any warranty document from the manufacturer, where applicable. 2. Note on returns

All goods purchased from the SWISS Shop can be returned with the returns note provided within four weeks after the goods are received without specifying a reason. It is sufficient to return the goods within the specified deadline and in their original packaging where possible. You have a choice between an exchange or a refund. Unless specified otherwise on the returns note, please return the goods to:

When returning damaged or used goods (which goes beyond that which could be reasonably be caused by trying on or checking the goods in the shop), we are entitled to make a claim for compensation. The right to return goods does not include newspapers, periodicals and magazines. Audio / video recordings (e.g. CDs, video cassettes, DVDs) and software are also excluded if the packaging has been removed. No right to return or revoke purchases shall exist where these involve accommodation or transport services to be provided on fixed dates, goods that are not suitable for return or that can quickly spoil, or goods whose "use by" date has expired or leisure activities.

3. Conclusion of contract
 
After placing an order with SWISS Shop, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail, providing you have provided us with an e-mail address. This confirmation acts as confirmation of receipt and does not constitute a legally binding acceptance of your order. Purchase contracts between Miles & More GmbH, branch office Kloten as an operating company of SWISS Shop, and you come into force once your order has been accepted – on shipping of the goods – by Miles & More GmbH, branch office Kloten. The goods remain the full property of Miles & More GmbH, branch office Kloten, until full payment has been made. Our prices naturally already include VAT (as at January 2011; subject to changes in VAT). As a result of ongoing improvements to product quality, deviations from the product images and/or information provided may occur in isolated cases. All performance, dimensions, weights and sizes provided are approximate values. We shall only accept liability for damage in the event of gross negligence or intent. We shall under no circumstances accept liability for subsequent damage such as loss of earnings.
4. Our lead times, delivery capacity and delivery costs
 
Delivery will take place approximately one week after receipt of your order. Delivery will be on weekdays only. Where a forwarding agent is used, delivery will take place approximately 2 to 6 weeks after receipt of your order. The delivery date is to be agreed upon by phone prior to dispatch between the recipient of the consignment and the forwarding agent. CHF 7.50 will be charged for deliveries within Switzerland and to Liechtenstein. The standard minimum order value is CHF 20.00. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery will be to the delivery address provided by the customer and, if a forwarding agent is used, delivery will be to the kerbside.
5. Payment options for purchases made in Swiss francs
 
The following payment options are available: credit card or invoice. Invoices must be paid in full within 14 days. Please specify your preferred payment option when placing the order.
6. Miles & More awards
 
In addition to these General Terms and Conditions, the Miles & More Participation Conditions apply to Miles & More awards, especially when redeeming award miles and requesting awards (flights, upgrades, travel awards, adventure awards and gifts). A minimum of 3000 miles is required to redeem any award. When cashing in miles, an additional 1000 miles are deducted for the delivery costs of reward goods sent within Switzerland and Liechtenstein. You can also request the freight costs to be billed in Swiss francs, as regulated in Paragraphs 4 and 5.
7. Combined payment in miles and Swiss francs
 
Goods marked with both a miles price and a price in Swiss francs can be purchased with a combination of miles and additional payment in Swiss francs. Payment in miles and topping up the remaining amount with Swiss francs is subject to the following additional conditions: at least 3,000 miles must be cashed in for the order, and the delivery costs must be paid in Swiss francs, as regulated in points 4 and 5. The Miles & More terms and conditions apply.
8. Miles & Travel, Miles & Event and ProTrain seminars
 
Travel and event offers and ProTrain seminars are offered by (travel) companies independent from SWISS Shop, to which we pass on these booking requests. 9. Luggage for your journey
 
The specified SWISS cabin luggage dimensions are as of September 2015, and may deviate from the standards implemented by other airlines. Please ask your relevant airline before boarding the plane. We cannot assume any responsibility for damage to your luggage.
Check your luggage after every flight as soon as you have retrieved it from the baggage conveyor belt. If your luggage is damaged, it is best to make a complaint immediately both verbally and in writing to the responsible airline or transport company before passing through customs. Information on luggage insurance is available from any travel agency.
10. Data protection
 
Personal data (name, address, telephone and / or credit card numbers) passed on by the customer to Miles & More GmbH, Frankfurt a.M., branch office Kloten, as an operating company of SWISS Shop, during the order process is subject to data protection laws. By placing the order, the customer agrees that their personal data may be saved in electronic form and processed for the purposes of executing the contract. Personal data may not be passed on to third parties without approval from the customer. The customer expressly agrees that their data may be passed on to third parties while processing the order, in particular for carrying out a credit assessment. Third parties that process personal data on behalf of Miles & More GmbH, Frankfurt a.M., branch office Kloten, are also required to protect this data carefully.
11. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
 
Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on the International Sales of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Kloten.
